Movie Tough Guys

Since the dawn film, movie tough guys have been a trusted constant.  Dirty Harry Callahan, John McClane, and Indiana Jones are just a sampling of the many rough-and-tumble movie house heroes that have graced our screens over the years.

But which character deserves the distinction of being the toughest ever?   After some deliberation, I believe I have cracked the code.  So here it goes.

Musings of a Back to the Future Fan

Back to the Future

I went to grade school in the late 1980’s. Back then, the thing to do around the holidays was to bring several classes together in one large room and play a VHS movie on one of those wheel-in TV carts.

For some reason unknown to me, the teacher in charge one year decided to play Back to the Future. Now, as you may recall, that film has quite a bit of cursing in it. Nothing too crazy by today’s standards, but a bit more than a group of 5th graders should probably be receiving from your average school assembly. Continue reading
