#010: John Carter

This movie is like Rocky. It’s got heart, but not a lot of skill. It’s a lovable idiot that will disappoint you if you think about it too much.

Hey guys! Just discovered your podcast and listened to the great in-depth episode on Blade Runner. I think a great Sci-Fi movie to do a discussion on would be 2010’s ‘Beyond the Black Rainbow’. Its an homage to old school sci fi/ horror films. I would recommend that you don’t watch the trailer because it may give you the wrong impression on what the film is like. Its also the kind of movie where you want to know as little as possible before watching it. Thank you for the awesome podcast and keep the episodes coming!

Brendo91! Hello! First. I am sorry that I am responding so late to this. Total crap. Second. Thank you so much for checking us out. I am glad that you like the show, and we appreciate the suggestion. Beyond the Black Rainbow. Nice – I will certainly put that on the list of “things to watch.” I am not sure if you use FB, but we typically get good discussion there. If social media isn’t your thing (and I totally get that), then just keep cracking away on the site, and we will keep the dialogue going. We are working on a major overhaul soon! Thanks again!
