Matthew and Dean oscillate between absurd, accent-laden editorializing, and truly attempting to feel Bram Stoker’s Dracula in all its glorious melodrama. This movie is not about the book by the titular author, but if you can get past that and see BSD for what it is – a dark and seductive fairytale with powerful, memorable visuals, and great performances sans Keanu (relax we love him anyway) – you will surely have a good movie watching experience.
